Skyrim iron gauntlets by Folkenstal Skyrim iron gauntlets by Folkenstal
These are the iron gauntlets from skyrim.
Made with Worbla, leather and real rabbit fur.

Only the gloves are missing. I will leave them like that, so that the gloves can be attached and detached anytime.
Otherwise the whole set of gauntlets need to be taken of when handling with something you need your bare hands for.
As example eating would be difficult with gloves.

Worbla you can get online. Don't know of any store that offers Worbla.
Go to worbla.com for more info.

I'm surprised no-one has commented on these yet. About the fur did you hunt and skin the rabbits yourself or did you purchase the pelts through a supplier? I would like to know since I'm going to get round to making a set of gauntlets as a day to day accessory.

Beautiful craftsmanship and into my favourites it goes.

Have a beautiful day.

Hey there, thank you :)
I didn't hunt, I purchased the fur and leather from an online store.

I'm sure you have one over there, too?
SO, you are going to wear gauntlets in the public? :D

I don't know Australia is kind of iffy when in comes to animal products. I'd rather hunt my own rabbits to get the fur so the gauntlets have more of a story to them.

And yes I am intending to wear them in public. I'm going to add a small pocket on the underneath of the left hand gauntlet to put my transit card in so when I tap it on he scanner I can freak all the passengers out. XD

Hahahah, well in Switzerland there are other laws… I need to get a license first and then join a club to even shot something.
I don't want to go through that trouble for a few rabbit furs :S

I'd love to see that on you :D
I somehow can't imagine…

Australia is much the same. First i need to join this hunting association liscened by the government and then I need to get a weapon that falls into the correct guidelines, go through training...uggghh and to make matters worse it would be kinda useless going through the effort since I live in the city XD

I'll make sure to send the photo your way.

Switzerland? How is it there? Besides cold XD

old costume that I dumped was going to use rabbit pelts before I was recommended coyote fur from a local supplier here and Brisbane.
Thank you for letting me know about your supply though for future reference could I have some details or even a link to your companies website?

Yeah, ok, pretty much the same :/
Only that I live in a town, where the forest is pretty near.
But that doesn't change the fact that I'd need to go through that process to get a rabbit fur in the end.

Switzerland is pretty cold now, indeed :(
I'd prefer to live somewhere less cold, but yeah :D
Other than that, it's ok I'd say. Nothing special I guess?

I'm quite the opposite in the way that I prefer the cold over the Australian heat XD

Oh, so we always want things we don't have, right? :D
Europe is quite nice if you like lush forests and the change of the seasons.
I don't know how it is over there in Australia… I think it's total different?

Still have to visit Australia, too. Go diving or something.
